Perth Core Router Maintenance (CHG-606)

Network engineers are performing network maintenance impacting core devices in Perth.

During the scheduled maintenance window some customers may experience multiple outages of no more than 2-5 minutes each.

Network traffic for virtual machines, backup and replication services will be interrupted multiple times for no more than 30 seconds each event.

The network interruptions occur as the network traffic switches between primary and secondary paths. All virtual machines and services will remain fully operational and automatically restore to normal operations upon completion of the works.

The services in the Perth zone which may be affected include:

• Internet and InterCapital Transit
• Ethernet Services
• MPLS Services
• ADSL and selected NBN Services
• VPS and Virtual Data Centres
• Secondsite Replication.

Some customers may need to clear arp tables for the gateway IP, or reboot onsite CPE if services do not restore.
