Root cause was identified as a leaf switch in the Clos network failing. While the majority of network traffic failed over correctly to alternate paths, a limited subset of customers might have experienced an issue with the alternate path.

Once this issue was correctly identified, a fix was put in place to restore their connectivity and ensure a similar issue doesn't happen again when network traffic moves to alternate paths.

Recovering

Zettagrid Engineers identified an issue on a single compute node which caused connectivity issues for a small number of VM's, affected VMs were then rebooted onto alternate nodes to restore connectivity.
